ABOUT ME
Fitzmaurice Voicework® is the foundation from which I explore breath, voice, communication and connection. To that foundation I bring my passion, vulnerability, and my endless desire to explore, question, and play.
As a teacher, I fundamentally believe in asking questions. I am constantly searching to find truth in the present moment, imaginative specificity, and emotional depth. As an artist, I hold high standards for myself in my own work, and I bring that same dedication to the time I spend with my students. My goal is to cultivate a supportive environment where students can be free to explore and learn at their own pace.
Fitzmaurice Voicework has been a part of my artistic process for over 10 years. I have worked closely with Catherine Fitzmaurice and several Master Teachers including Saul Kotzubei, Cynthia Bassham and Phil Thompson. I certified in 2014 and continued to deepen my understanding of the work at UC Irvine where I both studied and taught for 3 years. Since then, I've pursued connection and involvement in the Fitzmaurice Community because it brings immense value to my life, and I love sharing this work with the world.
